 KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT IPL 2023 SEASON


1.   IPL 2023 Schedule: IPL 2023 is scheduled to take place between  March 31, 2023 and May 28, 2023. IPL 2023 will consist of 74 group matches and playoffs. Here in this article, Start Date, Teams, Venues, IPL format, two new teams, auction value of team and individual player.


2.   BCCI added two new teams ahead of IPL 2022, so you will also 
see ten teams in IPL 2023. Total 70 league matches will be contested on 12 venues. The total construction time is 52 days.


3.    Lasttime,IPL champions Gujarat Titans will face Chennai Super
Kings in their first game of IPL 2023 in Ahmedabad on March 31. The 
last game in league is May 21 and the final will be played on May 28. There are 18 doubles matches this season. The concept of staying
home and going out is back; each team will play seven home games 
and seven away games in the league phase.

3.Indian Premier League 2023, also known as IPL 16, is the sixteenth season of the Indian Premier Leage (IPL). IPL is a T20 cricket league established by the Board of Control   for Cricket in India (BCCI). Tata Group is the title sponsor  for the 2022 and 2023 IPL seasons. IPL 16 is also known   as "TATA IPL 2023" due to the spacecraft.

4.    This IPL season will see “seventy-four” matches, which include seventy league matches (each team will play fourteen matches), two quarterfinals, one eliminator, and the final match. Teams that win six matches usually qualify for the semifinal and elimination stages of the tournament.

5.    Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Glints are the two new teams in the IPL, which was added recently last season. Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Delhi Capitals (DC), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Punjab King (PBKS), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Gujarat Titans (GT) are the ten teams and their short forms.

 

IPL 2023 Format


6.      IPL 2023 format will be the same as IPL 2012. Teams will be 
divided into 2 groups: Group A and Group B. Now suppose CSK is in Group A. Then CSK will play 2 matches against teams from Group A 
and Group against teams from Group B. CSK will also play another 
match against a randomly selected team from Group B.So for each 
team, it's 14 league matches.
